Drug-related violence in Jalisco State, Mexico, leaves 15 people dead

Gunmen attacked a convoy of elite state police on a highway near the village of Soyatan in Jalisco State killing at least 15 police officers and injuring others. The attack occurred on the Mascota-Las-Palmas Highway on Monday. Another attack on a police convoy on March 19 left 22 people dead, including three bystanders.
