Earthquake magnitude 6.6 hits off Taiwan

An magnitude 6.6 earthquake struck about 76 kilometres (47miles) northeast of Hualian, Taiwan. There are no injuries or damage reported at this time. There is no tsunami warning issued. However, a one metre tsunami was expected to hit Okinawa, Japan.
