Eating raw oysters causes food poisoning in Taipei, Taiwan

Consumption of raw oysters imported from Korea and served at a buffet restaurant chain in Taipei resulted in 62 cases of food poisoning caused by norovirus. Travellers should be aware that consumption of raw oysters and shellfish may carry a high risk of infection with many different infectious agents.
