Egyptian civil tensions and unrest escalate

With the violent incidents today, the Egyptian government has declared a month long state of emergency as well as a curfew in 14 provinces across Egypt, after clashes between security forces and supporters of deposed president Mohamed Morsi killed up to 150 people. Given the extent of unrest across the entire country, travellers may wish to reconsider their plans for travelling to Egypt.
