Egyptians abducted in Tripoli, Libya

Egypt’s Foreign Ministry has issued a report that 70 Egyptians were abducted in different areas of Tripoli by armed men dressed in military uniforms and that efforts are ongoing to obtain the release of these people. They were taken from an-Zarah, Salah al-Din and Friday market areas.

This is not the first time Egyptians have been targeted in Libya, and the ministry has warned Egyptian citizens to avoid travel to Libya.
