Elections in Liberia 10 October 2017

Presidential and general elections are scheduled in Liberia for 10 October 2017 and a second round of elections possibly near the end of the month.

Advice

Minimize safety risk by avoiding large political public gatherings or rallies leading up to the election. There could be considerable disruption to road travel when rallies are occurring. On Saturday, 7 October, a political rally could cause road travel disruption along the airport road around the area of the SKD Stadium.
