Extreme heat wave in India is a concern

Temperatures in many parts of the country are well above average, with some places reporting temperatures more than 5C higher than expected at this time of the year. Temperatures have ranged from 40C to 45C in some areas. At least 100 deaths have been reported. If monsoon rains are delayed in June, a major catastrophe may occur.
