Flash floods and landslides kill dozens in Pakistan, India

At least 21 deaths are confirmed in Pakistan and India's northern Rajasthan state from flash floods and landslides caused by heavy monsoon rains. Flooding has occurred in parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, and Pakistani-controlled Kashmir. A major landslide hit the Kashmiri city of Muzaffarabad. Hundreds of homes have been damaged and roads are blocked. Travellers should avoid travel to the affected areas since essential services including transportation may be severely disrupted.
