Flooding Due to Heavy Rainfall in Indonesia

Heavy rains since 6 December have caused severe flooding in Greater Bundung, Kertasari, Ciparay, Pengalengan, Bahay, and Bitung. Affected places are:

• Bandung: Kamasan village, Kamasan, Bugel, Perum Jati and Cipeundeuy
• Bayah: West Bayah, Cimancak, Cipta Jaya, Hegar Manah.
• Cibeber: Cisungsang and Citorek Kidul.
• Bitung: Kakenturan Satu sub-district, Maesa sub-district.

Advice

Avoid the affected areas at this time since essential services, including transportation, water, and electricity, may have been severely affected. Follow the advice of local emergency personnel.
