Flooding in Assam state in India worsens

The flood situation in Assam continues to worsen with over 20 districts affected by heavy monsoon rains. The government has not been able to provide adequate help to those affected in 2,000 submerged villages. At least 200,000 people have been relocated to refugee camps.
