Flu (influenza) on the rise in Caribbean and South American countries

The Pan American Health Organization (Regional Office of the World Health Organization) has advised countries in the Caribbean and South America to be aware of increasing flu cases as the winter season approaches. So far, Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, Cuba and the Dominican Republic are most affected. Brazil has recorded 61 deaths due to flu in several outbreaks.
