Food poisoning at Greek tourist resort

At least 70 people have developed food poisoning (vomiting and diarrhoea) while staying at the Grecotel Marine Palace in Panermos, Crete. The hygienic conditions at the hotel are described as “somewhat questionable.” Travellers are reminded that following general food and water precautions is recommended, even in tourist facilities.
