Food poisoning caused by unpasteurized apple cider in Ontario, Canada

Three people have become ill with food poisoning due to the bacteria E. coli_ O157:H7 after consuming unpasteurized apple cider produced by the Rolling Acres Apple Cider Mill, Waterloo, Ontario. The product is being recalled from the market.

Although food poisoning is often associated with consumption of unpasteurized milk, travellers should be aware that other unpasteurized juices may also be contaminated.
