Forty states in US report West Nile Fever

Forty states and the District of Columbia have now reported a total of 1,301 cases of West Nile Fever. There have been 47 deaths. Since there is no vaccine or treatment for West Nile fever, travellers to areas where this virus has been found can reduce their risk of exposure by taking all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
