Greece: Protests and strikes, May 21-23, 2016

Demonstrations are scheduled for 17:30 at Omonoia Square and also at Syntagma Square.

Workers at urban train ISAP, metro and tram will strike for 48 hours from Saturday morning, May 21 until Monday morning May 23, 2016.

Workers on blue buses and trolley buses will join with a 24-hour strike from Sunday morning until Monday morning (May 22-23, 2016).

The strikes begin and end with the first shift at 5 or 6 AM.

Advice

To minimize safety risk, avoid all protests and large public gatherings.

Have alternate transportation plans for the weekend.
