Growing heat wave in various parts of India

Temperatures as high as 45-46 degrees Celsius (up to 114.8 degrees Fahrenheit) have been recorded in various parts of India, including Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal and coastal Odisha.

Across southern India, temperatures hovered around 41C and 43C. Some 66 people have died from heat exposure this year.
