Gunmen storm tourist resort in Mali

At least two tourists were killed and 32 others rescued on Sunday after gunmen attacked Hotel Kangaba, Le Campement resort, a luxury resort popular with Westerners near Mali’s capital city of Bamako. All four gunmen were killed.

In Mali, there is an increased risk of attacks against Westerners. Avoid western government installations, markets, hotels, restaurants, places of worship and any other area frequented by Westerners. Avoid places with poor security measures in place.
