Hand, foot and mouth disease cases reported in states in the USA

Officials of the US CEnters for Disease Control and Prevention have received reports of 63 hand, foot and mouth disease cases from Alabama (38 cases), California (7), Connecticut (1), and Nevada (17).

Travellers who are travelling with small children who are most susceptible to infection with this virus can decrease the risk of exposure to hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) virus by frequent hand washing and maintaining careful personal hygiene.
