Hand, foot and mouth outbreak detected in Cayman Islands

An outbreak of hand, foot and mouth disease involving 20 students has been detected in Georgetown. Authorities are advising parents to monitor their children for signs of this infection and to practice careful personal hygiene, such as frequent hand washing.
