Heightened security in Egypt including closure of Sadat metro station

In view of the anniversary of the 2013 revolution today and recent violent attacks, security around Cairo and other areas is heightened around public squares, transportation areas, prisons where Muslim Brotherhood leader are jailed, etc.

The Sadat metro station, located beneath Tahrir Square, is closed today and possibly indefinitely for security reasons.
