Advice For Travellers

Hepatitis C is spread by sharing needles, personal care items, and piercing equipment, as well as having unprotected sex. The risk for the general traveller is low, but there is no vaccine against hepatitis C, and travellers can reduce the risk of exposure to this virus by avoiding these activities that increase the risk of exposure.
