Hurricane MATTHEW moves into the Caribbean

Hurricane MATTHEW is crossing into the southern Caribbean area. There has been one death reported from the island of St. Vincent. It is now affecting the Netherlands Antilles and is expected to reach Aruba today. Although it may touch the coasts of Venezuela and Colombia, it is expected to move northwards towards the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Cuba and perhaps the Bahamas in the next few days. Storm warnings have been issued for the cities of Santiago de Cuba, Kingston and San Salvador.
