Increases in malaria are a concern in Rwanda

Rwanda registered about two million malaria cases last year, almost 4 times the previous year total. With a population of approximately 12 million people, in 2015, almost 1 out of every 6 people got malaria. Early data from the beginning of this year suggest that malaria will continue to increase.
