Multiple health jurisdictions are reporting increases in cases of whooping cough (pertussis). Recent reports have been received from the following areas:

  • Santa Cruz County, California
  • Portage, Clark, Marathon and Wood Counties in Wisconsin
  • Montrose County, Colorado Local health officials are warning the population to ensure that they have been vaccinated against this infection.
