Intense Hurricane MARIA strikes Puerto Rico - update

Intense Hurricane MARIA is now a dangerous category 5 storm that has reached Puerto Rico en route along the northern coast of the Dominican Republic. Storm warnings have been issued for Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, the British Virgin Islands, the Turks & Caicos Islands, Anguilla, Haiti, the Bahamas and the following cities: San Juan, St. Croix, St. Thomas, Grand Turk, Santo Domingo, Monte Cristi and San Salvador.
