Japanese-Chinese tensions over disputed off-shore islands continue (update)

In China, anti-Japan protests continue in multiple cities. Many Japanese businesses, such as Sony, Suzuki and hundreds of stores and factories, have suspended business operations. Protesters targeted Japan’s embassy in Beijing. China’s defence minister has stated that China hopes for a peaceful resolution to this disagreement.
