June 4th commemoration rallies in Hong Kong
On June 4, pro-democracy rallies will be held to commemorate the 1989 crackdown on student protesters in Tiananmen Square in Beijing. The candlelight vigil will take place at 8:00 pm in Victoria Park. Other rallies may occur in other areas, including beneath the clock tower in Tsim Sha Tsui and Tamar Park.
The rallies are expected to be peaceful. There could be some traffic congestion and/or road closures.
