Large Events on Polish Independence Day

On Monday 11 November, Polish Independence Day, large public events are expected in Warsaw, Krakow and other major cities in Poland. In Warsaw, the following are planned as follows: 

  • A march, “Stowarzyszenie Marsz Niepodległości”, will begin at 14:00 at the Dmowski Roundabout and end at the National Stadium at about 19:00.  Approximately 40,000 participants are expected.

  • The Anti-fascist Coalition will march from 14:00 to 17:00 beginning at Pl. Unii Lubelskiej and continuing through ul. Marszałkowska, Pl. Konstytucji, Piękna, Al. Ujazdowskie, and ending at Pl. 3 Krzyży.  Approximately 5,000 participants are expected.

  • An Independence Run will take place at 11:11, beginning and ending at Al. Jana Pawła II.  Approximately 20,000 participants are expected.
