Heavy rains have caused wide-spread destruction in Nigeria and Senegal. Major infrastructure such as the Shandam Bridge, the main link between Jos, and the Shendam District in Nigeria, has collapsed. Farmland has been inundated. In Senegal, a factory wall collapsed killing 9 people.
