Legionellosis in New South Wales, Australia

Health authorities have reported a total of 24 cases and 1 death due to Legionellosis during March and April this year. No common source has been identified for all the cases. The increase in cases is attributed to the start up of air conditioning units that are being adjusted and turned on and off at this time of year.
