Legionnaires' Disease Outbreak May Be Pontiac Fever

Regarding the suspected outbreak of Legionnaires' Disease at the Landmark Hotel in Dundee, a total of 96 people have now been tested for the presence of Legionnaires' Disease. However, authorities believe that the guests and staff may actually be infected with Pontiac fever. This is a disease similar to Legionnaires' Disease.

Travellers who may have stayed at this hotel and become ill with respiratory symptoms should consult their physician immediately.
