Leishmaniasis is declining in Algeria

The province of Ghardaia has registered 86 people with cutaneous (skin) leishmaniasis, a significant decrease compared to last year (134 cases). The infected people reside in various municipalities and districts that include El Guerrara, Berriane, Metlili, and Ghardaia.
