Major diarrhoea outbreak in Mashonaland West Province, Zimbabwe

An outbreak of diarrhoea has caused over 1,000 illnesses in the past 3 weeks in Chinhoyi in Mashonaland West Province. Last week there were 309 cases. The cause of the outbreak is thought to be norovirus. Travellers should follow strict food and water precautions if visiting this area.
