Major earthquake strikes Philippines killing 6 people

A large earthquake (magnitude 6.7) struck Negros Island in the central Philippines. At least 6 deaths have been reported. Dozens of people are missing. Although some roads, bridges and houses were damaged, major roads remained passable.
