Major flooding in northern Mindanao, Philippines

Extremely heavy rainfall has caused flash flooding across northern Mindanao. Seven people have died while thousands are homeless. Heavily affected areas include the provinces of Lanao del Sur (Marawi City, Ramain, Taraka, Kapai, Poona Bayabao, Maguing and Balabagan), Misamis Oriental (Tumpagon, Pigsag-an, Lumbia, Tuburan, Pagalungan, Sansimon, Iponan, Bulua, Pagatpat and Canitoan), Zamboanga del Norte, Cagayan De Oro, and Bohol (Tagbilaran City)
