Advice For Travellers

While the risk for the general traveller is low, there is also probably significant under reporting of this infection. Small children less than ten years old are most susceptible to infection with one of several viruses that cause this infection. Travellers who are travelling with small children can decrease the risk of exposure to these viruses by washing their hands frequently and by maintaining careful personal hygiene.
