Major travel disruption at Heathrow and Gatwick due to IT failure for British Airways

Due to a major IT failure, British Airways has cancelled all flights from Heathrow and Gatwick before 18:00 today (Saturday, May 27). These airports are extremely congested. Some travellers have been stuck in planes on the tarmac.

Advice

British Airways have asked that travellers check their website and twitter for updates. There is severe travel disruption at this time. The worst disruption is at Terminal 5 at Heathrow.
