During marches organized by the supporters of Bangladesh's largest Islamic party, Jamaat-e-Islami, to protest the continuation of the country's war crimes trials, demonstrators set fire to buses and attacked vehicles in the main banking and stock market areas. Police fought back with rubber bullets injuring at least a dozen people. Over 100 people were arrested.
