Malaria cases increasing in Nodia, India

Since July, at least 99 cases of malaria have been reported to the health department. The local hospital is treating at least 2 cases every day. More cases are expected through August.

Travellers to this region can reduce their risk of exposure to malaria by taking all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites. Anti-malaria medication is recommended.
