There are reports that the number of people infected with malaria this year is increasing compared to the same time period in 2017.

Advice

All travellers to any region where malaria transmission is occurring can reduce their risk of exposure by taking all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites. Anti-malaria medication is recommended.
