Measles cases and outbreaks are being reported from the following countries:
- USA - The number of reported cases of measles (220 cases) is the highest in the past 18 years. Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Missouri, North Carolina, California, Ohio, South Dakota and New York City have all reported cases.
- United Kingdom - 70 measles cases confirmed so far, but 1 out of 3 cases has occurred in a person who was infected while travelling overseas.
- Russia - 32 cases in Altai Republic; 24 cases in Novosibirsk Oblast (first cases in past 12 years).
- India - cases reported in Lohanagar, all less than 5 years old.
- Pakistan - 1,329 new cases nationwide this year.
