Measles cases and deaths reported in Uganda and Pakistan

Uganda: another death due to measles brings the total to 5 for this year. So far, there have been 141 reported cases in Hoima, but there may be many more unreported cases in this on-going epidemic.

Punjab, Pakistan: 142 new cases have been reported, at least 50 of whom were reported from Lahore. The overall total for the province has reached 3,678 so far this year.
