Measles cases, outbreaks and deaths have been reported from the following countries:

United Kingdom

• Lancashire - 40 cases of measles have been confirmed in Morecambe and Heysham.
• Yorkshire - 2 cases of measles were discovered at a Middlesborough hospital.

Somaliland - 52 measles cases reported in an outbreak in the Marodi Jeh region last week

Pakistan - widespread outbreaks

• Punjab - 11 children die of measles
• Sindh - more than 410 children die of measles

USA

• Florida - 4 cases reported in Orange County
