Mini-bus attacked in Nairobi, Kenya

A mini-bus was attacked with grenades in the Pangani area of Nairobi's Somali-dominated Eastleigh neighbourhood. At least four people died and an unknown number were injured. Since Kenyan forces entered Somalia to fight the al-Shabab armed group, deadly attacks have occurred in Nairobi, the port city of Mombasa and the town of Garissa. Travellers should avoid any travel to the Somali-Kenya border as well as the outskirts of Nairobi.
