More cases of E.coli infection due to consuming clover sprouts at Jimmy John's Restaurants

A total of 25 cases of E.coli gastrointestinal infections have now been associated with the E.coli outbreak that spans 8 states. Six cases have been hospitalized. The 11 new cases were reported from Alabama, Michigan, and Ohio. Cases have now been identified in Alabama, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Michigan, Arkansas, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

Travellers who become ill and who might have consumed clover sprouts at the implicated restaurant should seek medical care as soon as possible.
