More High Tide Warnings for Venice, Italy

There are further warnings of high tides for Venice. Large areas of central Venice are again under water. St. Mark’s Square has flooded again and closed to tourists. Museums, stores, and other businesses remain closed.

The water level reached the 1.5-meter mark three different times in one week. There is no week on record when this has happened before. A tide of 80-90 centimeters is considered high.
