More protests feared in Turkey

Two lawyers who are representing two Turkish teachers who have been on a hunger strike for two months in an anti-government protest have been detained by police. There is concern that the hunger strike will lead to wider protests. During a demonstration on May 23rd, police fired tear gas at pockets of demonstrators in Ankara and Istanbul and detained at least a dozen people.
