Mozambique: Deadly Attack in Cabo Delgado Province on 3 December

On 3 December, unidentified assailants attacked two cars on the main road in Matapata village between Mocimboa da Praia and Palma in Cabo Delgado province at about 14:00 (local time) killing at least two people and injuring one South African national.

The US Department of State issued a travel advisory for the districts of Mocimboa da Praia, Nangade, Palma, Macomia, Ibo, Ancuabe and Quissanga in the northern Cabo Delgado Province.
