Nationwide 24-hour transportation strike in Italy June 16, 2017

Trade unions have called for a 24-hour nationwide transportation strike from 21:00 on Thursday 15, 2017, through Friday, June 16. Buses, metro, regional trains, air traffic and sea travel will be affected.

Some services may vary the duration of their work stoppages. In Rome, bus and metro services will run normally before 08:30 and between 17:00 and 20:00. Many intercontinental flights or connections to Italian islands with only one daily service will operate. The Leonardo Express between Termini Station and Fiumicino airport should run normally.
