New coronavirus transmitted person-to-person in family setting in England

Two members of the same family who had close personal contact with another family member who was infected with the new respiratory SARS-like coronavirus in the Middle East have become infected. Neither person travelled outside England. As a result, there is some evidence that this virus can be transmitted from person-to-person under very special circumstances, i.e., close contact with an infected family member. There is no evidence that this virus can be transmitted easily in the general population.
